Typically, I am the person who makes resolutions for the new year and doesn't stick to them. Well this year I WILL still to them! :)
1. Read 12 books. I love, love, love, to read but feel like I never have anytime because I am so busy with work, keeping the house clean, and just life. There are SO many books I want to read though. I feel like twelve books is a reasonable goal. That's one a month!
2. Cook dinner at least 4 times a week. Brandon and I have gotten in the habit of eating out WAY too much. I enjoy cooking, but after a long day at work that is the LAST thing I want to do. Plus, let's be honest. . . eating out really isn't all that healthy and it is SO expensive. Definitely money we could be saving for other things. :)
3. Lose some weight/exercise more. I really have never had a serious problem with my weight. Granted, I'm not skinny by any means, but I wouldn't say I was fat either. For the most part, I eat pretty healthly. . . hopefully, if we eat out less that will help. Really though my biggest problem is that I DON'T exercise. I really have got to get better about that or one day I really will be obese and I definitely don't want that.
4. Learn/teach myself to sew. So I see all these really AWESOME things on pinterest that I want to make. . . except I can't sew. :( I have a sewing machine just sitting in the guest bedroom taking up space. This year I plan to put it to use and teach myself (or have someone else teach me) to sew!
5. Be the best wife I can be. :) Brandon is so so good to me and I feel like sometimes I could do better! I can definitely be a big biatchhh sometimes and he doesn't deserve that. I am going to try and not sweat the small stuff so much. I want him to feel as loved as I do by him every single day. :)
6. BLOG BLOG BLOG! I started this blog as a way to record the daily happenings in our lives and one of my biggest goals is to keep up with it. I am notorious for starting things and not finishing them. I will not do it this time though. :)
